ABOUT US

D. Earls Tax Service has been a staple in North Texas for more than 45 years. It all started when Delmer & Maggie Earls founded the family owned and operated company in 1978 by opening the first office in Rockwall. They grew to include offices in Cumby, Pilot Point & Mesquite before purchasing permanent offices in Greenville and Quinlan in the early 1990’s.

Our History

Delmer & Maggie were community staples; involved in every aspect of community  development. After the passing of Maggie in 1992, Delmer was comforted by the overwhelming support of his community neighbors. Shortly after this trying time his son, David, took over the Greenville location while his son, Dennis, took over the Quinlan location, working with his sister Debbie, to continue their father’s dream of a lifelong family enterprise.

Delmer continued to be an active participant in every aspect of the company until his unexpected death in March 2012. Delmer saw several transitions of his family company including the tragic loss of his sons, David and Dennis, and the promotion of his grandson, Daniel Earls, to President of D. Earls Tax Service in 2008.

In the last 10 years, Daniel and his wife, Megan have poured their heart and souls into the business and are thrilled to celebrate 40 years and are excited to announce their son, Dylan as the 4th generation. In the 40 years since D. Earls Tax Service first opened its doors there have been many changes brought to N. Texas; we are proud to be a consistent staple to our thriving community.

Megan Earls is the co-owner of D. Earls Tax Service alongside her husband, Daniel Earls, and has been an integral part of the company since 2008. Specializing in payroll and marketing, she also owns Earls Payroll Solutions, bringing expert knowledge and dedication to both businesses. Earls.

Dylan.jpg

1st born son

Dylan Earls (8), the first son of Daniel and Megan, proudly represents the fourth generation of the Earls family legacy. Though still young, Dylan is already a familiar face around the office, enthusiastically “working” alongside the team as he begins learning the trade. Dylan looks forward to soon taking on official tasks like answering phones, replying to emails, and filing paperwork. For now, his favorite responsibility is stuffing koozies for client giveaways—and he never passes up an opportunity to charm the office with surprise coffee delivery for the ladies. With his boundless energy, genuine enthusiasm, and bright spirit, Dylan is already a promising part of the future at D. Earls. When he’s not in the office, he loves baseball, school and can hold his own in a good Nerf battle.

Drake.jpg

2nd born son

Drake Earls (6), born on October 15th - fittingly on extension deadline day - is the second son of Megan and Daniel and proudly represents the fourth generation of D. Earls. Though he's been with the company since day one (literally), Drake currently prefers racing through the office halls in search of wagon-shaped stress balls over balancing spreadsheets. While he hasn’t yet shown interest in the family business, he brings joy and energy to the workplace with his boundless curiosity. When not making the rounds at the office in search of snacks, Drake enjoys school (mostly for hanging out with friends), baseball, building Legos, and pestering his older brother.
